Sofia Express tickets 

The train runs every day between Istanbul Halkalı Train Station (Turkey) and Sofia (Bulgaria).
 

The train, which goes on the route Halkalı, Çerkezköy, Alpullu, Edirne, Kapıkule, Svilengrad, Dimitrovgrad, Plovdiv and Sofia, departs from Istanbul at 20:00 and arrives to Sofia at 09:45.

Train leaves Sofia at 18:50 and arrives in Istanbul Halkalı at 09:56.

Bucharest connection is provided by a couchette wagon to be added to the Istanbul Sofia Express during the summer period from mid-June to October.

The train has 2 types of wagons:
Couchette wagon with 4pax shared couchette cabins and sleeper wagon with double/single occupancy sleeper compartments.

There is no dining car on the train, so please bring your own food and drinks.
 

There are toilets at each end of the wagon.

Different gender passengers can not travel together in shared couchette cabins, but they can travel together in the sleeper compartments.

We can help you by buying tickets in advance. 

Sofia Prices:

Price per person in 4 pax shared couchette cabin:  53,50€
Price per person in double occupancy sleeper: 61€ 
Price of a single sleeper is 110€

Children under 4 years old do not need ticket (if they will travel without seat)

There is a discount applies to children aged 4 to 12 years. ​​

If you want a guaranteed private couchette cabin, we must buy the empty  berths at full price as well.
