Day 1. Hidden Paradises of Western Kekova (14.5 km Paddle / 4 km Hike)
Our adventure begins in Üçağız, a charming 2500-year-old Mediterranean village. After gearing up, we set off from ancient Teimoussa and paddle approximately 4 km to Değirmenlik Bay, a small sea canyon. Then, we land at Polemos, a spot bearing traces of antiquity.
Next up is an exciting hike along the famous Lycian Way to Aperlai, another Lycian city on the western tip of the peninsula. Here, you can explore this ancient city, famous for its underwater ruins, either by swimming over them or walking through the terrestrial remains. After touching history, we return to Polemos and enjoy a delicious meal at a seaside restaurant. As dusk approaches, we paddle to Akvaryum and Tersane bays before returning to Üçağız for a cozy stay at a family-run guesthouse.

Day 2. Kekova's Magical Secrets: The Sunken City (20 km Paddle)
Leaving Üçağız in the morning, we paddle directly to the legendary Sunken City (Ancient City of Dolichiste) located on Kekova Island. Following the island along the coast, we reach the lighthouse area on its easternmost tip and round the enchanting backside of Kekova.
Here, Karaloz Bay, one of Kekova's most beautiful coves, awaits you! We take a refreshing swimming and picnic break in the magical waters to unwind. Continuing our paddle westward, we re-enter Kekova's inner sea from the western lighthouse and conclude our day back in Üçağız village.

Day 3. Exploring Eastern Kekova and Ancient Heritage (24 + 3 km Paddle or 12 + 3 km)
We start our day early, departing from Üçağız and heading to Kaleköy (Simena). If you wish, you can land here to visit the village and its historic castle. As we paddle towards Andriake, we pass by Hamidiye Bay and the mysterious Pirate Cave (entry to the cave is prohibited).
Çağıllı-Çakıllı Beach is an ideal spot for a swimming break. Afterwards, we reach Çayağzı. Those interested can follow the small stream to explore the ruins of the Apollo Oracle Center. We then land in Andriake-Demre for a lunch break.
If you wish to paddle back to Üçağız from Andriake, you can pass by the stunning views of Gökkaya and Burç Bays on your return journey. This unforgettable adventure concludes in the heart of Lycia!
